Legal status: Controlled — cathinone (khat's natural principal alkaloid) is a 1971 Convention SCHEDULE I psychotropic and is scheduled under the Ustawa o przeciwdziałaniu narkomanii (Act on Counteracting Drug Addiction). Mechanism: 1971 Sch-I transposition, named.
