Is Delta-8-THC legal in Poland?

- Controlled — delta-8-THC (Δ8-THC) is caught as a tetrahydrocannabinol under the Act of 29 July 2005 on Counteracting Drug Addiction, whose annexes schedule tetrahydrocannabinols and their isomers; delta-8 is controlled as an isomer of THC. Distinct from cannabis (possession criminal under Art. 62, with Art. 62a discretionary dismissal) and legal medical cannabis. No death penalty.
- Consequences if caught
- Illegal; possession punishable (Art. 62, up to 3 years), with Art. 62a prosecutorial discretion for small amounts; trafficking heavier.
- If prescribed or medical
- No recognised medical use; delta-8-THC is not a prescribable medicine.
- Documentation
- No lawful personal import of a controlled tetrahydrocannabinol.
