Is Delta-8-THC legal in Sweden?

Legal status
Controlled — delta-8-THC (Δ8-THC) is treated as narkotika by reference to the 1971 Convention entry for tetrahydrocannabinols, which covers the isomers and stereochemical variants of THC; Swedish forensic authorities explicitly class delta-8 as a controlled isomer of THC. Distinct from cannabis under the zero-tolerance Narcotic Drugs (Punishments) Act 1968:64. No death penalty.
Consequences if caught
Illegal; possession, use and trafficking penalties (narkotikabrott) — minor offences day-fines plus record, trafficking imprisonment.
If prescribed or medical
No recognised medical use; delta-8-THC is not a prescribable medicine.
Documentation
No lawful personal import of narkotika.
