Is Delta-8-THC legal in Portugal?

- Controlled — delta-8-THC (Δ8-THC) is caught as a tetrahydrocannabinol under the tables of Decreto-Lei 15/93, which schedule tetrahydrocannabinols and their isomers; delta-8 is controlled as an isomer of THC. Distinct from cannabis, whose personal use is decriminalised (administrative) under Law 30/2000 — decriminalisation does not make delta-8 lawful. No death penalty.

- Personal use is decriminalised (dissuasion commission, administrative); trafficking up to 12 years.
- If prescribed or medical
- No recognised medical use; delta-8-THC is not a prescribable medicine.
- Documentation
- Decriminalised personal use does not permit lawful import; trafficking-level quantities are criminal.
