- Controlled. delta-8-tetrahydrocannabiforol is named in Förteckning I of the Swedish narkotikaförteckningar, which are Läkemedelsverkets föreskrifter (LVFS 2011:10) om förteckningar över narkotika, made under 3 § förordningen (1992:1554) om kontroll av narkotika. The version read for this cell is the consolidated text, which states on its own first page that it contains amendments through HSLF-FS 2026:26. The row reads «delta-8-tetrahydrocannabiforol 3-heptyl-6a,7,10,10a-tetrahydro-6,6,9-trimetyl-6H-dibenso[b,d]pyran-1-ol», and its international column reads no international listing. Förteckning I is the tier for substances, plant material and fungi that normally have no medical use. delta-8-THCP is printed as the second name under that row. The delta-9 isomer is a separate row, also Förteckning I with no international listing, reading «delta-9-tetrahydrocannabiforol 3-heptyl-6a,7,8,10a-tetrahydro-6,6,9-trimetyl-6H-dibenso[b,d]pyran-1-ol», with delta-9-THCP printed under it. Hexahydrocannabiforol, whose second name is HHCP, is a third row and is not this one.
- Consequences if caught
- Capital exposure: none. Sweden has no death penalty for any offence, so no drug offence here carries capital exposure. The live cell recorded that possession and use are criminal, that minor offences draw day fines plus a record, that ordinary drug offences reach up to 3 years, and that grave offences reach far longer.
- If prescribed or medical
- No medical authorisation in Sweden. The live cell recorded that the narcotics classification leaves only licensed scientific use.

- There is no lawful personal import route. The live cell recorded that delta-8-THCP and delta-9-THCP were added to the narcotics schedules by HSLF-FS 2024:12, in force from 16 January 2024, and that retail products such as vapes, edibles and hash became illegal to sell or possess from that date. That amending instrument and that date are carried forward and were not re-derived: the rows read here print neither.
