Is MXE legal in Poland?
- Legal status
- MXE (methoxetamine) is controlled throughout the EU, and thus in Poland, under Council Implementing Decision (EU) 2015/1875 (8 October 2015), which required member states to subject MXE to control measures and criminal penalties; Poland lists it under the Act on Counteracting Drug Addiction (Ustawa o przeciwdziałaniu narkomanii).
- Consequences if caught
- Possession, supply and trafficking of MXE as a controlled substance are criminal offences under the Act on Counteracting Drug Addiction, carrying imprisonment.
- If prescribed or medical
- MXE has no authorised medicinal use in Poland and cannot be prescribed.
- Documentation
- No legal supply exists; online purchases of MXE are illicit imports subject to seizure.
