Is MXE legal in Sweden?

Legal status
MXE (methoxetamine) is classified as a narcotic (narkotika) in Sweden, listed in Läkemedelsverket's schedules (LVFS 2011:10) since 2012 and reinforced by EU-wide control under Council Implementing Decision (EU) 2015/1875; it is a scheduled dissociative with no medical use.
Consequences if caught
Handling MXE is punishable under the Narcotic Drugs Punishment Act (Narkotikastrafflagen), with possession, supply and trafficking carrying fines to multi-year imprisonment by quantity.
If prescribed or medical
MXE has no authorised medicinal product in Sweden and cannot be prescribed (contrast: ketamine, a scheduled narcotic-medicine).
Documentation
No legitimate supply exists; MXE ordered online is an illicit import intercepted by Swedish Customs.
