Is 7-Hydroxymitragynine (7-OH) legal in Poland?

Confirmed against a primary sourceVerified July 13, 2026
Legal status
7-Hydroxymitragynine, a kratom alkaloid, is controlled together with the plant as a constituent of the Group I-N listing of Mitragyna speciosa and mitragynine (MoH Regulation of 17 August 2018); 7-OH is not separately named — its individual listing is left to confirmation, but it shares the plant's controlled status.
Consequences if caught
Unlawful possession up to 3 years (Art. 62); production, import/export or supply carries higher penalties; a small own-use amount may be dismissed.
If prescribed or medical
No lawful medical route — kratom and its alkaloids are Group I-N intoxicants with no authorised Polish medicine.
Documentation
No lawful personal-import route for a Group I-N intoxicant.
