Tramadol is narcotic-classified (narkotikaklassat) in Sweden — listed in förteckning V under LVFS 2011:10 — though it is dispensed on an ordinary (non-special) prescription.
Consequences if caught
A minor (ringa) narcotics offence draws a fine or up to 6 months; an ordinary offence up to 3 years.

Prescribed as a förteckning V narcotic medicine on an ordinary prescription form.
Documentation
