Listed by name in Anlage I of the Betäubungsmittelgesetz, the non-marketable tier. Delta-8-THC has an entry of its own there, distinct from the delta-9 isomer. The printed row reads „- | Δ8-Tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ8-THC) | (6aR,10aR)-6,6,9-Trimethyl-3-pentyl-6a,7,10,10a-tetrahydro-6H-benzo[c]chromen-1-ol“. The double bond position is named in the second column and the two ring stereocentres are fixed in the third, so this is a listing at a specific isomer rather than at tetrahydrocannabinols generally, and an isomer question is answered by finding the isomer's own row. Placement is by BtMG § 1 Abs. 1. This is a narcotics result, not a new psychoactive substances one, and the cannabinoid structure groups in that other statute are not the route here.
