Is 3-MMC legal in France?

- 3-MMC (3-methylmethcathinone) is a stupéfiant, caught by the generic ban on the cathinone family in the French arrêté controlling “cathinone et ses dérivés” (2012), which reaches the 3-isomer by class; the EU Delegated Directive 2022/1326 obligation was transposed by Feb 2023.
- Consequences if caught
- Stupéfiant offences: possession/use and trafficking are criminal, trafficking carrying heavy imprisonment and fines. Non-death-penalty jurisdiction.
- If prescribed or medical
- No recognised medical use and no lawful prescription route; classified as a narcotic, not a medicine.
- Documentation
- No lawful personal-import route for a stupéfiant.
