- Controlled — listed in Anlage II BtMG (marketable but non-prescribable narcotic). Methylone is individually NAMED as 'Methylon (MDMC)', added by the 26. BtMÄndVO of 20 Jul 2012 (grouped with MDPV and 4-MEC). No death penalty.
- Consequences if caught
- Illegal to possess, import or supply; the 'nicht geringe Menge' threshold is roughly 30 g; up to 5 years, heavier for trafficking.
- If prescribed or medical
- Anlage II — not prescribable; no lawful medical or prescription route.
- Documentation
- No lawful personal import of a controlled narcotic.
