Is Methadone legal in Qatar?

- Unauthorised possession/use: imprisonment (roughly 6 months–3 years) plus fine and deportation for non-nationals; trafficking is 10–20 years, escalating to death or life for recidivist/aggravated offences under Art. 34.

- Prescribable but tightly controlled narcotic (injectable forms receive special handling); import requires prior MOPH PDC approval with an attested medical report (within 6 months); narcotic (Table 1) supply capped at 30 days.
