Is MDPV legal in Sweden?
- Legal status
- Controlled. MDPV was classified by name as narkotika (added to the Swedish narcotics list) in 2010; control is reinforced by EU Council Implementing Decision (EU) 2015/1875.
- Consequences if caught
- Illegal as narkotika; possession and supply carry imprisonment under the Narcotic Drugs Punishments Act. No death penalty.
- If prescribed or medical
- MDPV has no recognised medical use and no lawful prescription route in Sweden.
- Documentation
- No lawful personal-import route for a narkotika-classified substance; do not carry.
