Is MDPV legal in Switzerland?

- Controlled. MDPV is listed by name in the controlled-substances Verzeichnis under the BetmVV-EDI (added ~2011); Switzerland is a 1971 Convention Schedule II party though, being non-EU, it is not bound by the EU implementing decision.
- Consequences if caught
- Illegal under the Betaubungsmittelgesetz (BetmG); possession, use and trafficking carry BetmG penalties. No death penalty.
- If prescribed or medical
- MDPV has no recognised medical use and no lawful prescription route in Switzerland.
- Documentation
- No lawful personal-import route for a BetmG-controlled substance; do not carry.
