Is MDA legal in Germany?
- Legal status
- Controlled — MDA is individually listed by name in Anlage I to the Betaeubungsmittelgesetz (BtMG), the non-tradeable schedule. NAMED mechanism.
- Consequences if caught
- Anlage I: trafficking is a felony (BtMG s.29a/s.30) carrying multi-year to long prison terms; possession punishable.
- If prescribed or medical
- Anlage I (nicht verkehrsfaehig) — no recognised medical use and not prescribable; only BtMG s.3 research authorisation.
- Documentation
- No lawful personal import; MDA cannot be carried in or prescribed.
