Is 25I-NBOMe legal in Germany?
- Legal status
- 25I-NBOMe is individually listed in Anlage I (non-tradable, non-prescribable narcotics) of the Narcotic Drugs Act (BtMG), added in December 2014 within a batch of new psychoactive substances.
- Consequences if caught
- Unauthorised production, possession, trafficking or supply is a criminal offence under the BtMG carrying imprisonment and fines, with elevated terms for trafficking quantities.
- If prescribed or medical
- As an Anlage I substance it is neither marketable nor prescribable; lawful use is confined to licensed scientific research.
