- Consequences if caught
- Recreational possession and supply are unlawful, penalised under the psychotropics regime and the drug-trafficking articles of the Código Penal.
- If prescribed or medical
- Legal for medical/anaesthetic use under prescription and medical supervision.
- Documentation
- Carry the prescription and, for controlled medicines, a Schengen certificate; keep medicines in original packaging.
