Controlled — delta-8-THC (Δ8-THC) is caught as a tetrahydrocannabinol under the Narcotics Control Act, which schedules THC and its isomers; delta-8 is controlled as an isomer of THC. Distinct from cannabis, controlled under the same Act, and Korea exercises extraterritorial jurisdiction over nationals. No death penalty for this substance in practice.
