Controlled narcotic. 6-APB is named in Anlage II of the Betäubungsmittelgesetz, the schedule of substances that are tradeable but not prescribable. The entry prints "6-APB" in its other-names column and the chemical name "1-(Benzofuran-6-yl)propan-2-amin". The placement is therefore a named line in a narcotics schedule, and the statement that this substance is reached only through a Neue-psychoaktive-Stoffe-Gesetz structure group is superseded by that reading: the BtMG route governs and it carries the higher ceiling. 6-APB is reached by the Neue-psychoaktive-Stoffe-Gesetz through the phenethylamine group at Anlage 1 Nr. 1, and the route runs through the group's two structural elements rather than through any name.
