Is 3-MMC legal in Vietnam?

- 3-MMC (3-methylmethcathinone) is controlled — Vietnam's controlled-substances decree lists synthetic cathinones, and 3-MMC is reached by that class and by the 1971 Convention obligation; the exact 3-MMC-specific entry is left to confirmation.

- Controlled-substance trafficking is a serious criminal offence carrying long imprisonment. Death penalty for drug offences was ABOLISHED (Penal Code amendment, eff. 1 Jul 2025) — no current capital exposure.
