- Oxycodone (oxicodona) is in Tabela I-A of Decreto-Lei 15/93 (special narcotic prescription) — a marketed strong opioid; personal use is decriminalised (Lei 30/2000) though the drug remains controlled.
- Consequences if caught
- Personal possession is decriminalised (referred to a Dissuasion Commission); trafficking up to 12 years.
- If prescribed or medical
- Prescribed on the special narcotics prescription as a Tabela I-A opioid.
- Documentation
- Within Schengen carry the Article 75 certificate (≤30 days, INFARMED); Infarmed pre-authorisation may be required for narcotic imports.
