- Oxycodone (ossicodone) is in the Tabella dei medicinali Sezione A of DPR 309/1990, dispensed on a non-repeatable ministerial prescription (ricetta a ricalco) — a marketed strong opioid.
- Consequences if caught
- Personal-use possession is an administrative sanction (art. 75); dealing 6–20 years (art. 73).
- If prescribed or medical
- Prescribed as a Sezione A narcotic on the ricetta a ricalco.
- Documentation
- Within Schengen carry the Article 75 certificate (≤30 days) and the prescription.
