Legal status
Oxycodone is a stupéfiant (Liste I annexe, Code de la santé publique), dispensed on a secure prescription (ordonnance sécurisée) — a marketed strong-opioid analgesic.
Consequences if caught
Illicit use or possession up to 1 year plus a fine; unauthorised holding or trafficking up to 10 years.
If prescribed or medical
Prescribed as a stupéfiant on a secure prescription (28-day maximum).
Documentation
Within Schengen carry the Article 75 certificate for up to 30 days' supply, authenticated by ANSM, with the prescription.
