- Controlled psychotropic under the Narcotics and Psychotropics Control Act (a SEPARATE statute from the amphetamine Stimulants Control Act).
- Consequences if caught
- Importable for personal use up to ~2,160 mg (~1 month) without paperwork; above that a Yakkan Shoumei import certificate is required ≥14 days ahead.
- If prescribed or medical
- Yakkan Shoumei certificate required above the ~1-month threshold; carry the prescription.
