Is MDPV legal in Iran?

- Controlled as a psychotropic. MDPV is a 1971 Convention Schedule II psychotropic controlled through the Psychotropic Substances Act 1997, which incorporates the 1971 schedules. Capital reach is left to confirmation: the Anti-Narcotics Law capital thresholds are named for specific drugs (heroin/methamphetamine/opium/morphine), and psychotropic/NPS capital reach for MDPV is unconfirmable.

- Illegal; possession and trafficking carry severe penalties with extreme DP enforcement for named drugs. MDPV-specific capital reach left to confirmation. Do NOT carry.
- If prescribed or medical
- MDPV has no recognised medical use and no lawful prescription route in Iran.
- Documentation
- No lawful personal-import route for a controlled psychotropic; do not carry.
