Is MDPV legal in Italy?

- Controlled. MDPV is individually listed by name in Tabella I of DPR 309/1990, added by ministerial decree (2011/2012); control is reinforced by EU Council Implementing Decision (EU) 2015/1875.
- Consequences if caught
- Illegal as a Tabella I substance; trafficking carries heavy imprisonment, personal possession subject to administrative sanction. No death penalty.
- If prescribed or medical
- MDPV has no recognised medical use and no lawful prescription route in Italy.
- Documentation
- No lawful personal-import route for a Tabella I substance; do not carry.
