Is MDA legal in Pakistan?

- Controlled — MDA is a scheduled substance under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act 1997. NAMED/scheduled mechanism. ABOLISHED: the CNSA (Amendment) Act 2022 removed the death penalty for narcotics offences, replacing it with life imprisonment; not death-eligible.
- Consequences if caught
- Trafficking up to life imprisonment; no longer death-eligible (post-2022).
- If prescribed or medical
- Scheduled narcotic with no recognised medical use; no lawful prescription route.
- Documentation
- No lawful personal import; trafficking caps at life, not death.
