Is Delta-8-THC legal in Oman?

- Controlled — delta-8-THC (Δ8-THC) is caught as a tetrahydrocannabinol under the Law on Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances (Royal Decree 17/99), which schedules cannabis and THC; delta-8 is controlled as an isomer of THC. Distinct from cannabis, prohibited (death-eligible for trafficking, Art. 43). The capital reach of a pure delta-8 isomer is left to confirmation.
- Consequences if caught
- Zero tolerance; possession and trafficking are serious offences; trafficking is death-eligible.
- If prescribed or medical
- No recognised medical use; delta-8-THC is not a prescribable medicine.
- Documentation
- No lawful personal import of a controlled tetrahydrocannabinol.
