Is Delta-8-THC legal in Philippines?

- Controlled — delta-8-THC (Δ8-THC) is caught as a tetrahydrocannabinol under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (RA 9165), which covers THC and its isomers; delta-8 is controlled as an isomer of THC (any specific DDB resolution left to confirmation). Distinct from cannabis, a dangerous drug under RA 9165. Death penalty ABOLISHED (RA 9346, 2006).

- Illegal; trafficking is life imprisonment and heavy fines (non-capital since RA 9346, 2006).
- If prescribed or medical
- No recognised medical use; delta-8-THC is not a prescribable medicine.
- Documentation
- No lawful personal import of a dangerous drug.
