Distinct from cannabis, fully illegal (possession/use 15–25 years). No death penalty for this substance.

- Illegal; long imprisonment for possession/use and trafficking; medical and recreational cannabis-type products prohibited.
- If prescribed or medical
- No recognised medical use; delta-8-THC is not a prescribable medicine.
- Documentation
- No lawful personal import of a controlled tetrahydrocannabinol.
