Is Amphetamine legal in Turkey?

- Controlled under Law No. 2313 on the Control of Narcotic Drugs (offences under the Turkish Penal Code); Adderall is not licensed.
- Consequences if caught
- Possession without valid authorisation is criminal (reported ~4–24 years for possession/use/smuggling; aggravated life for trafficking).
- If prescribed or medical
- Obtain prior Ministry of Health authorisation before travel and carry the prescription; amphetamine/Adderall is unlicensed and high-risk.
- Documentation
- Controlled medicines (opioids — tramadol/codeine/oxycodone/morphine; ADHD stimulants such as Ritalin/Adderall; some sedatives) are high-risk: carry original packaging plus a doctor's letter, check the TİTCK classification, and bring only the minimum quantity needed. Undocumented controlled medicines create criminal exposure. Cannabis seeds are prohibited to import.
