Legal status
Quetiapine is a licensed prescription medicine (normal beyaz recete), not a controlled drug: Seroquel and ketiapin products (Sequa, Quelept, Ketya and others) hold TITCK marketing authorisation and are not listed among Turkey's controlled narcotic/psychotropic substances.
Consequences if caught
Quetiapine carries no controlled-substance penalty; supply outside the prescription channel is a medicines-regulation breach only.
If prescribed or medical
Prescribed as an atypical antipsychotic for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder; dispensed on a standard white prescription.
