- Oxycodone is a controlled narcotic under the Narcotics Control Act 2018 — a strong opioid; it is NOT separately named among the Category 'A' (Ka) capital drugs (heroin, cocaine, morphine, opium and methadone), so the drug-specific capital tier for oxycodone is left to confirmation.
- Consequences if caught
- Narcotic possession/trafficking draws graduated imprisonment; Section 36 reserves the death/life tier for named Category 'A' drugs at high quantity (e.g. heroin/cocaine ≥25 g) — oxycodone is not separately named, so its capital exposure is left to confirmation.
- If prescribed or medical
- Dispensed as a controlled prescription narcotic.
- Documentation
