- Controlled psychotropic under the Anti-Narcotics Law — a lower-tier medical psychotropic NOT among the Art.-8 capital substances (unlike amphetamine).
- Consequences if caught
- Prescription/import-controlled; no capital exposure (methylphenidate is not among the Art.-8 enumerated capital narcotics).
- If prescribed or medical
- Prescription ADHD/narcolepsy medicine (e.g. Ritalin/Concerta) via controlled channels; carry the original prescription and any required import permit.
