Legal status
Controlled — MDA is a Class A controlled drug named in the Misuse of Drugs Act (Cap. 27), mirroring Singapore. NAMED mechanism. NOT death-eligible: MDA is absent from the capital Second Schedule (which, as in Singapore, names opium/heroin/cocaine/cannabis/methamphetamine) — MDA-class amounts fall below the death tier (exact schedule left to confirmation).
Consequences if caught
Class A: trafficking of listed capital drugs is death-eligible, but MDA-class amounts attract severe imprisonment plus caning, NOT death.
If prescribed or medical
Class A controlled drug with no recognised medical use; no lawful prescription route.
Documentation
No lawful personal import; MDA-class amounts are non-capital but severely punished.
