- 3-MMC (3-methylmethcathinone) is controlled by name since 1 Oct 2015, when it was included in China's supplementary list of 116 non-medical narcotic/psychotropic substances — making China the earliest jurisdiction to schedule 3-MMC, years before any EU or UN measure.
- Consequences if caught
- Controlled-psychotropic offences carry imprisonment; capital exposure exists only via the Criminal Law art. 347 large-quantity catch-all, which cathinones rarely reach in practice — treat as not-typically-capital.

- No recognised medical use and no lawful prescription route.

- No lawful personal-import route for a controlled psychotropic.
