Is Synthetic Cannabinoids (K2 / Spice) legal in Brazil?

Confirmed against a primary sourceVerified July 14, 2026
Legal status
Controlled as a class. Synthetic cannabinoids are proscribed on Lista F2 (proscribed psychotropics) of ANVISA Portaria SVS/MS 344/1998, which since 2014 carries a generic class entry for synthetic cannabinoids by chemical structure plus named compounds, so new analogues are captured.

If prescribed or medical
These synthetic cannabinoids have no recognised medical use and no lawful prescription route in Brazil (Lista F2 is a proscribed list).
