Is MDPV legal in Brazil?

- Controlled. MDPV is listed by name on Portaria SVS/MS no 344/1998, Lista F2 (proscribed psychotropics whose production, sale and possession are prohibited).
- Consequences if caught
- Illegal as a Lista F2 substance; trafficking carries heavy imprisonment, personal use diverted to non-custodial measures. No death penalty.
- If prescribed or medical
- MDPV has no recognised medical use and no lawful prescription route in Brazil (Lista F2 is a proscribed list).
- Documentation
- No lawful personal-import route for a Lista F2 proscribed substance; do not carry.
