Is HHC legal in Greece?

Confirmed against a primary sourceVerified July 14, 2026
Legal status
HHC (hexahydrocannabinol) is scheduled as a narcotic in Greece — individually listed under the national narcotic-drugs framework during the 2023-24 EU wave of HHC controls.
Consequences if caught
Handled under the Greek narcotics law (Law 4139/2013 lineage): production, supply and possession are penalised under that regime. Distinct from CBD below 0.2% THC, which Greece permits.
If prescribed or medical
No medical HHC product; HHC sits outside the regulated medical-cannabis programme (Law 4523/2018).
Documentation
Greece was among the EU member states that individually named HHC (the EUDA/EMCDDA tracked at least 22 member states controlling HHC by February 2025). Named route because the hydrogenated structure was not caught by isomer language. CND Schedule II of the 1971 Convention (in force 6 December 2025).
