DOM (STP) is controlled as a psychotropic substance under the Narcotics Control Act, South Korea's transposition of DOM's individual Schedule I listing under the 1971 UN Convention.

Possession, use and trafficking are criminal offences under the Narcotics Control Act, with multi-year minimum terms and up to life imprisonment or the death penalty for aggravated trafficking.
