Is CBD legal in Cuba?

- CBD (cannabidiol) is controlled as a narcotic under the Cuban Penal Code (Ley No. 151/2022) — cannabis and its derivatives are controlled drugs with no CBD carve-out and no medical-cannabis regime; there is no legal consumer CBD.
- Consequences if caught
- Production, sale, trafficking or possession of controlled drugs carries substantial imprisonment escalating with quantity and role under a strict zero-tolerance policy.
- If prescribed or medical
- There is no CBD/Epidiolex prescription scheme.
- Documentation
- No documentation legalises CBD — a controlled narcotic, with no prescription route.
