Buprenorphine is placed in Schedule 7 of Decision No. 158 of 2025, the branch the dossier describes as the psychotropic Schedule III equivalent, at the printed entry «بوبرينورفين». The dossier records the placement as standing despite the substance's recognised medical use for opioid dependence and for pain, which is the whole of the tension on this row: the medicine that treats dependence on Schedule 1 opioids is itself scheduled, though in the psychotropic branch rather than with them.
