- Prescribed for opioid-replacement treatment (about 75% in primary care), with supervised dosing then takeaways; long-acting injectable buprenorphine is available.

- The Traveller's Exemption allows a 3-month supply carried with a prescription or doctor's letter; confirm any state permit.
