- Adderall (mixed amphetamine salts) has no separate legal identity — it is regulated AS amphetamine: scheduled psychotropic under the Law of Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances (Royal Decree M/39, 1426H/2005).
- Consequences if caught
- Use ~6 months–2 years; possession-with-intent/trafficking 5–15 years + lashes. Trafficking a scheduled psychotropic is DEATH-PENALTY-ELIGIBLE (Art. 37) and Saudi Arabia actively EXECUTES for amphetamine/Captagon trafficking. Amphetamine carries high capital exposure.

- Prescription stimulant via strictly controlled medical channels; carrying it without a local permit/prescription risks arrest.
- Documentation
- An SFDA electronic clearance permit obtained before travel via the Controlled Drugs System; prescription + medical report + ID, translated into Arabic and less than 6 months old; import limited to a one-month supply or the duration of stay; declare at customs (inspections are thorough).
