- 1P-LSD is caught in Ireland by the blanket Criminal Justice (Psychoactive Substances) Act 2010 as a psychoactive substance (it affects the central nervous system, producing hallucinations); it is not individually named under the Misuse of Drugs Acts.
- Consequences if caught
- Selling, supplying, importing, exporting or advertising 1P-LSD for human consumption is an offence carrying up to 5 years' imprisonment (up to 10 on indictment); simple possession for personal use is not an offence under the 2010 Act.
- If prescribed or medical
- No authorised medicinal or prescription use in Ireland.
- Documentation
- Confirmed via the Criminal Justice (Psychoactive Substances) Act 2010, applied to un-scheduled lysergamides analogous to LSD.
