GBL in Myanmar: not individually verified
Also known as: blue nitro
We have not confirmed that GBL specifically is scheduled in Myanmar, so this page gives no legal status. Publishing a guess here would be worse than publishing nothing. What we do know is the governing national drug law, below.
- What is on record
- Not confirmed for GBL in Myanmar. Notification 25/2025 was checked for GBL and for gamma-butyrolactone and it names GHB, which is a different molecule and cannot stand in for it. An earlier precursor-surveillance list named butyrolactone, and Notification 26/2025, which superseded Notification 113/2021 at its paragraph 4, was read for this record: GBL, gamma-butyrolactone and butyrolactone are not among the precursors it lists.
Confirm directly with Myanmar’s national drug authority or your own embassy before you rely on anything.
