Legality · EtizolamEtizolam in Bolivia: not individually verified
Not individually verified
We have not confirmed that Etizolam specifically is scheduled in Bolivia, so this page gives no legal status. Publishing a guess here would be worse than publishing nothing. What we do know is the governing national drug law, below.
- What is on record
- Not confirmed. No individual status was established for this row. The Anexo to Ley 913 of 16 March 2017, the list article 5(c) of that Law makes operative, does not name it anywhere in Listas I to V. Lista IV carries more than thirty benzodiazepines by name, from ALPRAZOLAM to TRIAZOLAM. Etizolam, a thienodiazepine, is not among them and appears nowhere in the Anexo. The version read is the Anexo as published in Gaceta Oficial edition 947NEC on 23 March 2017, read as at 21 September 2026, and reading it does not rule out a later addition, because article 5(c) closes with las que sean incorporadas por Ley, incorporation by Law. That is an unresolved row and not a permission. [Certain] on the search, [Likely] that the substance is outside the list, because a list can be amended and a name can be printed in a form the search did not anticipate.
Confirm directly with Bolivia’s national drug authority or your own embassy before you rely on anything.
What Bolivia HAS confirmed for related substances
These are related compounds, not Etizolam. Their status may or may not reflect Etizolam’s. Confirm Etizolam directly with Bolivia's national drug authority or your embassy.
Resolved through its constituents rather than through an entry of its own. Resolved member by member against the six benzodiazepine rows in this corpus. Lista IV names alprazolam, clonazepam, diazepam, lorazepam and nimetazepam, each as its own entry. Etizolam is named nowhere in the Anexo. The Anexo to Ley 913 of 16 March 2017 is the operative list, made so by article 5(c) of that Law, and the offences stayed in Ley 1008 Título III. [Certain]
