Is Adderall legal in Switzerland?

- Adderall (mixed amphetamine salts) has no separate legal identity — it is regulated AS amphetamine: controlled narcotic (Verzeichnis a) under the Narcotics Act (BetmG, SR 812.121).
- Consequences if caught
- Minor possession/use: contravention (Art. 19a, fine); manufacture/trafficking/supply (Art. 19) up to 3 years, aggravated higher.
- If prescribed or medical
- Available on prescription; carry a Swissmedic Schengen certificate + original packaging for up to 30 days.
- Documentation
- Schengen travel: carry prescribed narcotics with a Schengen Article 75 certificate and keep them in original packaging. Medical cannabis has been prescribable by doctors WITHOUT a special FOPH permit since August 2022.
