Research Library
Every published claim on this site traces to a source, and anything we could not source is marked as unknown rather than asserted. These are the sources it traces to, grouped by what each is used for. Where a source could not be resolved or did not state the thing we needed, the claim is not published rather than published with a weaker citation.
How sources are ranked, verified and retired · The datasets built from them
Official court judgments
Every sentencing record is read from one of these. A judgment that is not published in a citable, machine-readable form does not become a record.
- eLitigation, Singapore Courts — Singapore High Court and Court of Appeal grounds of decision
- de Rechtspraak — Netherlands judgments, selected by parketnummer
- CourtListener — United States federal opinions
- Hong Kong Judiciary, legal reference system — Hong Kong judgments
Drug law and scheduling
Used for the legality reference. A status is published only where one of these states it for that exact substance in that exact jurisdiction.
- UNODC — treaty scheduling and national legislation summaries
- Library of Congress, foreign law — national drug statutes in translation
- EUDA, the EU Drugs Agency — EU member state law and drug-checking reporting
- INCB — international control status of individual substances
- legislation.gov.uk — UK Misuse of Drugs Act classes and amendments
- PacLII — Pacific Islands legislation and case law
Composition and pharmacology
Used for what is actually in a sample and what a compound does. We do not generate laboratory data and never present another body's data as ours.
- Abukahok N, Fitzgerald ND, Palamar JJ. An Update on the Epidemiology of Tusi (pink cocaine). Current Addiction Reports 2025;12:90 — the Energy Control 470-sample composition figures
- PubChem — verified chemistry and identifiers for every substance page
- DEA drug fact sheets — US scheduling and public descriptions
- NIDA — effects and harm profiles
What is deliberately not here
Forums, vendor pages, aggregator sites and press coverage of primary research are not used as sources for any factual claim, however widely they are quoted. Where only a secondary source exists for something, the claim is left out. That is the main reason the legality reference publishes far fewer statuses than the number of substance and country pairs that exist.
